2024 Best index funds for 401k - I’m 21 with about $1,000 to start investing. I learned that index funds are a much safer long term option than investing in individual stocks. I’m just unsure about which one to invest in. It seems like everyone agrees VOO through Vanguard is the best index fund to invest in but I’ve also heard of S&P 500 (or are these 2 the same thing?).
